Before the procedure:

1. All appointments are confirmed with a non-refundable deposit of $50, which will be deducted from your total bill. 

2. Cancellation and rescheduling less than 48 hours before the appointment are subject to deposit forfeiture. No-shows are not eligible for a deposit refund. 

3. We only accept cash or e-transfer payments. Deposits can be sent via e-transfer. Please contact us for booking first. 

4. To accommodate all of our appointments in the day on time, being late for more than 15 minutes will result in the cancellation of your slot.

Before booking your appointment, please advise if you:

​

• Are under 18 years old

• Have keloid scars

• Are pregnant or breastfeeding

• Have taken Accutane within 12 months

• Have skin irritation on the eyebrows or eyelid area such as pimples, rash, psoriasis, eczema, rosacea, or sunburn

• Have diabetes

• Have HIV, Hepatitis, or any viral infection

• Undergoing chemotherapy

• Have slow healing process or prone to infections

• Are taking medication that thins the blood

At least 72 hours before your appointment, avoid taking aspirin; at least 24 hours before the procedure, do not drink alcohol; avoid drinking caffeine before the procedure.

After the procedure:

​

Expect the area to feel like it’s sunburned, the pigment will appear dark and sharp. In 2-5 days, scabs will begin to form and in 7-14 days the

scabbing is over. During this time, your goal is to keep the scabs as clean, dry, and on as long as possible for the best results.

 

To do so, here are some tips:

​

1. Do not get the area wet within 24 hours after the procedure.

2. From day 2-14, remember to: 

• Always wash your hands when touching the area; 

• Clean the area gently using a mild cleanser twice a day. Use the foam to cleanse the area so your fingers do not touch the area directly.

• Do not wash your face for too long. 5 to 10 seconds will do.

• Pat dry immediately after rinsing.

• Moisturize lightly using the ointment provided when it feels tight and itchy. Skip the ointment for oily skin. Save the rest of your ointment for the touch-up session.

• Blot the area gently when it gets too oily.​

   3. From day 2 until the scabs fall off or the area has healed:

• Do not use harsh chemicals, including makeup, colorants, and other harsh skin care products on the treated area during the healing process.

• Avoid sleeping on your face and sleep on a clean pillowcase.

• Do not touch, pick, or scratch the scabs or flakes. Let them fall naturally when the area is fully healed.

• Tie your hair back or clip your bangs back to keep them from irritating the area.

• Do not expose the area to the sun and do not tan.

• Be careful not to soak the area with sweat, so avoid heavy exercise in the first 10 days

• No facials, Botox, chemical treatments, and microdermabrasion in the first 4 weeks.

 

   4. After the scabbing phase:

• The colour will appear faded and foggy; you can apply makeup on the area during this time while waiting for the healing process to complete.

• Over the next 6 weeks, the colour will slowly reappear and look more vibrant. Only after this time has passed can book a touch-up session.

• The first session gives a natural look and a base layer

• The touch-up session is to create layers and make the pigment denser and fuller or touch up gaps that didn’t colour properly during the first session.

   5. After 6 weeks, you may book a touch-up session; not everyone needs a touch-up because I have a good retention results. If you need a touch-up please contact us for book an appointment.

You may still book a touch-up session beyond the 10 weeks from the first session but please be guided by the pricing policy below: 

 

  Touch-up Price

• Within 10 weeks from the first session: $50

• Within 6 months from the first session: $100

• Within 12 months from the first session: 50% off the price of a first appointment

• Within 24 months from the first session: 20% off the price of a first appointment

• After 24 months from the first session: Full price
